ADA Awards were presented at the 2005 ADA Convention in Savannah Georgia, at both the Opening General Session and the President's Banquet. The Joel Wernick Award, presented in recognition of outstanding accomplishments and contributions to the field of audiology, was presented to the Accreditation Commission for Audiology Education (ACAE). The Leo Doerfler Award, in remembrance of ADA's first president, was presented at the President's Banquet to Mary Anne Larkin, Au.D., for her excellence in clinical practice.
